Requirements

  • Associate degree plus a minimum of 1 year experience working in a Metrology role or in a healthcare or related manufacturing environment; or High School diploma plus a minimum of 2-3 years working in a Metrology role or in a healthcare or related manufacturing environment
  • Microsoft Excel experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and good computer knowledge
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with strong communication/reporting skills
  • Must be able to perform shift and weekend work as required to support site operations
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 35 lbs. and use material handling equipment
  • Ability to pass all gown qualifications to perform work in manufacturing clean room environments

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate and review calibration checks for product/process manufacturing equipment, including equipment for weight, temperature, pressure, dimension, flow (e.g., balances, weight sets, RTDs, pressure transducers, micrometers, manometers) and radioactive isotopes (e.g., ion chambers, multi-channel analyzers, scintillation detectors)
  • Maintain all calibration history files for manufacturing equipment
  • Perform periodic reviews and updates of calibration SOPs and department records
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment and instrumentation as required/assigned
  • Troubleshoot equipment with the facilities maintenance department on repairs that arise
  • Assist Maintenance and Engineering team members on site projects and initiatives
  • Write Investigation Reports, deviations, and Unscheduled Work Orders based on calibration and PM findings that may receive FDA review
  • Responsible for compliance with radiation safety procedures, including individual dose management
  • Work closely with outside manufacturing and facility/equipment support contractors
  • Complete all planned EHS, Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Comply with all applicable Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality System Requirements (QSR’s)
