Requirements

Associate degree plus a minimum of 1 year experience working in a Metrology role or in a healthcare or related manufacturing environment; or High School diploma plus a minimum of 2-3 years working in a Metrology role or in a healthcare or related manufacturing environment
Microsoft Excel experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and good computer knowledge
Strong mathematical aptitude
Ability to multi-task and work independently with strong communication/reporting skills
Must be able to perform shift and weekend work as required to support site operations
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights
Ability to routinely lift up to 35 lbs. and use material handling equipment
Ability to pass all gown qualifications to perform work in manufacturing clean room environments

Responsibilities

Calibrate and review calibration checks for product/process manufacturing equipment, including equipment for weight, temperature, pressure, dimension, flow (e.g., balances, weight sets, RTDs, pressure transducers, micrometers, manometers) and radioactive isotopes (e.g., ion chambers, multi-channel analyzers, scintillation detectors)
Maintain all calibration history files for manufacturing equipment
Perform periodic reviews and updates of calibration SOPs and department records
Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment and instrumentation as required/assigned
Troubleshoot equipment with the facilities maintenance department on repairs that arise
Assist Maintenance and Engineering team members on site projects and initiatives
Write Investigation Reports, deviations, and Unscheduled Work Orders based on calibration and PM findings that may receive FDA review
Responsible for compliance with radiation safety procedures, including individual dose management
Work closely with outside manufacturing and facility/equipment support contractors
Complete all planned EHS, Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Comply with all applicable Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality System Requirements (QSR’s)
