Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in merchandise planning, financial planning and analysis, or a similar role in a retail environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical and presentation tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • A customer-centric mindset and a passion for fashion and retail

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage financial plans that balance the ambition and vision of merchants with the deliverable objectives of finance and the strategic initiatives of the company
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, such as category planners, replenishment, price, and allocation to understand and align on business objectives, opportunities, and risks
  • Analyze historical and current data, trends, and merchant feedback, to produce intelligent insights, actionable recommendations, and flexible business solutions
  • Communicate and educate various stakeholders on the financial plans, assumptions, and results using clear and compelling storytelling and data visualization
  • Act as a change leader to support company initiatives and ensure adoption by merchandising team
  • Influence and empower teams to take ownership of their business and deliver key performance indicators, such as sales, margin, inventory, and turn
