Requirements

High School diploma or GED (Required)
2 years of teller experience or equivalent experience involving cash handling, sales, lending, or customer service (Required)
Ability to effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction
Ability to learn and apply information on a wide range of Credit Union products, services, and regulatory compliance requirements to assess member situations and develop solutions
Ability to utilize knowledge and experience in performing job functions
Ability to promote and foster excellent member service and teamwork
Ability to communicate in a professional manner, deliver information clearly and effectively, actively listen, and use tact and diplomacy in sensitive/confidential situations
Ability to use correct English including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Ability to operate computers, use business software, and other standard office equipment
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
Ability to set priorities and manage one's own time effectively
Ability to meet physical demands: intermittent standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, and repetitive use of hands

Responsibilities

Greet members, assess their needs and concerns, and provide consultative services regarding appropriate Credit Union products and services
Document and process products and services for members, including new accounts, deposit products, loan products, credit cards, and insurance products
Utilize knowledge of Credit Union products and services to provide solutions to members' concerns and problems, following through to ensure member satisfaction
Perform routine branch duties such as assisting with opening and closing procedures and maintaining supplies
Maintain a professional image and demeanor, demonstrating Credit Union RISE Values and adhering to the Code of Ethics
Deliver friendly, caring service to internal and external members
Comply with all applicable State, Federal, and NCUA rules/regulations, and all Credit Union policies and procedures
Follow all physical and online security procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of all member information
Complete all required regulatory and compliance training and maintain required knowledge of Credit Union products and services
Work scheduled hours and maintain punctuality
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
