The Medical Virtual Assistant / Intake Coordinator will collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information, coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensure accurate data entry and management of patient records in EHR systems, assist in checking coverage and eligibility for medical procedures, handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy, gather necessary medical history and documentation before consultations, facilitate communication between patients, providers, and insurance representatives, maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to healthcare privacy regulations, and assist with medical billing, claims processing, and other administrative duties as needed.
