  • Provide scientific and medical education on Natera’s products, clinical validation, and their clinical role in early cancer detection.
  • Gather and communicate strategic insights from the field to inform clinical development, medical strategy, and commercialization plans.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical, Product, and R&D teams to support clinical trials, observational studies, and clinical evidence generation.
  • Participate in the development of medical education and launch readiness plans, including advisory boards, symposia, and training materials.
  • Support training for internal stakeholders (commercial, marketing) as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D, M.D., D.N.P.) in a scientific or clinical field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Medical Science Liaison, clinical liaison, or scientific field-facing role, ideally in oncology or diagnostics.
    • In-depth understanding of oncology, early detection strategies, and molecular diagnostics.
    • Proven ability to engage with clinical experts and translate complex scientific data into meaningful discussion.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving, start-up environment while maintaining a strong teamwork ethic.
    • Willingness to travel for meetings and conferences.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience supporting or launching innovative diagnostic or therapeutic products in a pre-commercial setting.
    • Experience in liquid biopsy, multi-cancer early detection (MCED), or genomics-based diagnostics.
    • Familiarity with clinical utility evidence generation and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) strategies.
    • Prior involvement in launch planning and field medical operations in a start-up or biotech setting.
