Requirements

Candidates must possess a health sciences-related degree such as a PhD, PharmD, or MD, with scientific knowledge and interest in Diabetes and Obesity treatment options. Excellent social and communication skills, including presentation abilities, are essential, along with demonstrable experience in building networks. A minimum of several years of experience as an MSL or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry is required, preferably with experience and a network in Diabetes and Obesity treatment.

Responsibilities

The Medical Science Liaison will serve as the primary contact and clinical data expert for Thoughtleaders in academic and peripheral hospitals in the Noord Nederland region, focusing on Diabetes and Obesity. Responsibilities include engaging Thoughtleaders, organizing local and national training sessions, sharing scientific information with physicians, and delivering product presentations. The role requires spending at least 80% of time outside the office interacting with Health Care Providers, training therapeutic advisors and market access colleagues, supporting the local brand team with account information, and maintaining medical-scientific expertise.
