Position Overview
The Medical Science Liaison – Breast Oncology (MSL) serves as a key field-based scientific resource engaging clinicians, academic institutions, and professional organizations to support Natera’s oncology products. The MSL facilitates the exchange of scientific information, builds key relationships, and drives awareness of Natera’s evolving portfolio in breast oncology, including early-stage and metastatic breast cancer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide scientific and/or clinical presentations on data that support Natera’s oncology products in Breast Oncology.
- Serve as a medical and scientific resource for Natera’s US/International Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and BioPharma teams.
- Establish, maintain, and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and customers in the breast oncology space.
- Collaborate with lab operations to provide additional clinical and scientific information regarding Natera’s breast oncology products.
- Represent Natera at relevant scientific and clinical congresses and meetings.
- Engage in continuous learning to maintain deep expertise in breast oncology and molecular diagnostics.
- Provide medical expertise in the creation of materials, communication tools, and publications to ensure scientific accuracy.
- Support and coordinate ongoing clinical trial and research initiatives at academic institutions and study sites.
- Meet assigned metrics and complete documentation and tracking of field visits, insights, and research opportunities.
- Travel extensively (>60%) as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Healthcare professionals with relevant scientific knowledge and/or clinical training in breast oncology will be considered.
- Advanced scientific/healthcare degree preferred (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., D.N.P.); Master’s degree required.
- Prior MSL experience preferred, but not required.
- Must reside within the assigned/advertised territory.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- This is a remote position and requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Daily use of a computer is required; may also stand for extended periods during meetings or while traveling.
- Ability to travel extensively is required.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard, communicate via phone, and read printed material.
- May require working outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends).
