High school diploma or equivalent
Associate’s degree in a related technical field is preferred
Previous pipeline or petroleum industry experience with emphasis on mechanical/electrical is highly preferred
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Must hold a valid driver’s license with good driving record
Must be able to pass a general background check as well as a Motor Vehicle Background check
Strong background in basic electrical and mechanical equipment
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must live within 45 minutes of the reporting location in Heath, OH

Responsibilities

Perform work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with all Environmental, Safety and Regulatory requirements
Perform routine maintenance, coordinate and communicate maintenance activities
Respond to and resolve station alarms and communicate findings to appropriate parties
Generate computerized work requests for maintenance tasks; coordinate and communicate maintenance activities
Repair and maintain valves, pumps, vapor recovery unit, tank equipment, strainers, meters, provers, and truck rack loading equipment in accordance with all regulations
Provide field support to various other Marathon Pipe Line LLC processes and departments
Execute mechanical maintenance and reliability duties at multiple area facilities in support of 24/7/365 pipeline operations
