Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and service mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems
  • Execute mechanical repairs and replacements, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations
  • Install, upgrade, or modify mechanical systems and equipment as needed
  • Keep comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of mechanical maintenance tasks, including work orders and equipment manuals
  • Identify and diagnose mechanical problems using various tools and equipment
  • Determine the root cause of mechanical malfunctions and develop effective repair solutions
  • Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to locate and rectify issues
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to implement improvements and enhancements
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and national mechanical codes and regulations
  • Other duties as required
