Requirements

  • Pursuing degree in engineering discipline
  • Must have experience using 3D design software (Solid Works preferred)
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in organizing and prioritizing work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Have appropriate reading and clerical skills
  • Attention to detail and follow through
  • Work well with others in a team setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge (or willingness and ability to learn) of PC based business tools including word processing, spreadsheets and others as required
  • Have a good work record, including indications of strong self-motivation, high productivity, reliable attendance, attention to quality, ability to learn new skills, and a cordial, cooperative personality
  • Candidates must be available to start on May 18 and participate through the duration of the program (May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026)

Responsibilities

  • Support new part quoting activities & SAP routings
  • Assist in the research & development of capital projects & equipment
  • Support Quality, Maintenance and Lean operations problem-solving activities
  • Frequently report verbally and in writing on project status
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Create detailed drawings and illustrations of parts, welded assemblies, and systems using CAD software
  • Develop individual component routings, with the assistance of others
  • Create bills of materials for components and assemblies
  • Complete ECO’s in response to change requests from various departments with input from design engineers
  • Release new parts and assemblies into production via ECO process
  • Maintaining existing product drawing database
  • Create parts pages from exploded views of CAD models, supporting technical publications
