Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical design, automation, or similar
  • Strong communication skills
  • Above average oral English skills
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering for automotive connector products
  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing process and tooling for automotive connector operations
  • Expertise in APQP and Launch Activities including FMEAs and Control Plans
  • Basic knowledge in IATF 16949

Responsibilities

  • Develop the assembly line for new projects and build the samples to deliver to customer on timing
  • Be responsible for process documentation preparation, such as try-run report, process flowchart, PFMEA, work instruction etc
  • Conduct technical reviews on both product design and equipment design
  • Develop new technology/flexible processes as required, providing feedback to improve BOP standards
  • Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints
  • Manage machining supplier activities and make sure they meet all project targets
  • Support the operation to make continuous improvement for existing projects
  • Develop the automation integration and technical innovation for current processes
