Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical design, automation, or similar
Strong communication skills
Above average oral English skills
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering for automotive connector products
Strong working knowledge of manufacturing process and tooling for automotive connector operations
Expertise in APQP and Launch Activities including FMEAs and Control Plans
Basic knowledge in IATF 16949

Responsibilities

Develop the assembly line for new projects and build the samples to deliver to customer on timing
Be responsible for process documentation preparation, such as try-run report, process flowchart, PFMEA, work instruction etc
Conduct technical reviews on both product design and equipment design
Develop new technology/flexible processes as required, providing feedback to improve BOP standards
Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints
Manage machining supplier activities and make sure they meet all project targets
Support the operation to make continuous improvement for existing projects
Develop the automation integration and technical innovation for current processes
