Candidates need 3+ years of experience with microscopy techniques including HR-TEM, HAADF-STEM, EDS, and EELS. A Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields is required. Experience with data handling software such as Excel, JMP, Python, or IGOR is desired.
The role involves working as a member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with senior technical staff on materials characterization, process development, and failure analysis, and mentoring junior technical staff.
Strong candidates will have a Ph.D., 3+ years of TEM microscopy experience, and a history of productive research shown in publications, patents, or presentations. Industry experience, semiconductor process development, failure analysis, and plus skills like TEM tomography or strain mapping are highly valued.
