Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related Supply Chain Management field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, execution, distribution, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing, and MRP logic
  • Skilled in preparing detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to support accurate forecasting and inventory optimization
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills, able to work with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external under Korean regulations
  • Experience in global material planning with hands-on use of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiency
  • Fluent level of English & Korean in written and verbal communications
  • Ability to travel abroad upon business needs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record within territory or locations
  • If foreign national, legal work permit is required to pursue employment contract by Korean immigration law
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lb, any other physical requirements

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute material supply strategies in alignment with factory ramp-up plans
  • Manage materials planning and scheduling, distribution, and allocation processes according to prioritization criteria defined by the business under Korean regulations
  • Set and maintain key parameters such as safety stock, lead time, and minimum order quantity
  • Manage capacity planning and master scheduling, coordinating with stakeholders
  • Ensure operational alignment with the production plan and KPIs (inventory accuracy, turnover, backlog, priority orders, etc.)
  • Track and report KPI performance
  • Work closely with the Global S&OP team to align production planning with dynamic demand and exceptions
  • Develop weekly/monthly material allocation plans and respond proactively to production changes
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders (production, quality, logistics, etc.) to forecast, plan, and facilitate timely delivery of materials to the production line
  • Avoid any disruption and proactively resolve supply issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
