Field Service Maintenance Technician

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shop/field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair, along with technical certifications or an Associate’s Degree. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principles is required, as well as good written and verbal communication skills for daily reporting and computer literacy for email and work orders. Applicants must be able to obtain a forklift license and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and be able to lift and handle heavy loads up to 55 lbs.
The Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician will troubleshoot and perform complex repairs on material handling equipment in both the shop and field, adhering to preventative maintenance schedules, completing work orders promptly, and maintaining open communication with the service manager. They will also demonstrate proficiency with various equipment types including Doosan lift trucks, warehouse solutions, and other forklift brands, as well as Curtis Controllers, Narrow Aisle equipment, and Cold Storage systems, while upholding ASCO’s core values and contributing to the company’s growth.
