Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operates bulk material handling system involving hopper car unloading to silo, moves material to blenders, presses, and scrap grinders
  • Operating simple valves, changing flexible connections from manifolds to lines feeding various presses
  • Sorts and loads tier sheets into robot cells
  • Ensures care to avoid contamination, wrong or mixed material, directs material to proper destination, and maintains blend ratios
  • Sorts scrap, removes bushings when required, and regrinds scrap for return to system
  • Collects samples as required
  • Procures samples of raw material for receiving inspection and labels properly
  • Samples and calculates blend ratios
  • Collects scrap and moves to regrind area
  • Loads bushings on cover machines and injection molding machines
  • Brings all raw materials to plant floor as needed
  • Cleans and changes filters on material hoppers
  • Changes filters on material conveyance system when required
  • Performs 5S and Housekeeping throughout the plant
