Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience with Master Data Management exposure is preferred
  • SAP experience along advanced skills

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary liaison between businesses for create/read/update/delete of master data throughout the enterprise
  • Work directly with customers to support and resolve challenges related to mastering critical business data
  • Apply relevant principles to support projects and ongoing activities
  • Complete tasks supporting business teams and assist in developing business requirements to solve master data-related problems
  • Lead department-level initiatives or provide assistance to departmental managers on phases of larger projects
  • Assist in supporting business continuity, relationship management, and business strategy
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate, Divisional Policies, and procedures
  • With general guidance from master data managers, perform master data Create/Read/Update/Delete responsibilities, including mandatory validations such as OCR Denied Party Screening, address verification, and compliance verification
  • Communicate master data creates/changes to internal and external customers
  • Participate in process improvement teams
  • Provide data analysis to verify/validate data and identify root causes
  • Understand implications of master data as it relates to SAP and other business systems based on requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and/or provide guidance to less experienced team members, including troubleshooting escalated issues
  • Gather and document business requirements for Master Data initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of key goals and operational processes with stakeholders to aid in process development and data analysis
  • Apply and execute standard strategic business theories, concepts, and techniques; assist in developing master data standards and procedures
  • Manage projects according to milestones and within budget constraints
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with all levels throughout the organization and with external partners
  • Work with minimal management direction
  • Assist in monitoring technical and business support staff related to projects
  • Adhere to divisional business rules and processes in Master Data SOPs and SLAs
  • Participate in business-critical Master Data initiatives, including advising on creates/changes and cross-functional process improvement teams
  • Participate in division-specific projects, testing, enhancements, or data verification
  • Effectively utilize Abbott systems (AES, ECC, cApps, and ancillary systems) to maintain master data integrity across Create/Read/Update/Delete processes
  • Independently develop general approaches to problem solutions using basic project management principles and problem-solving skills
