Responsibilities

Serve as the in-house expert for certain markets Solar Landscape is investigating for potential entry
Analyze, understand, and clearly communicate market-specific economics and requirements to inform business decisions
Contribute to new market development efforts through research, analysis, and preparation of presentation materials that clearly communicate opportunities and risks
Monitor, analyze, and interpret laws and regulations affecting the solar industry and our company at the local, state, and federal levels
Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, external stakeholders, and trade groups, representing company perspectives
Conduct economic and policy analyses to inform company strategy and decision-making
Draft and file comments and testimony as needed in regulatory dockets and legislative hearings to advance company priorities
Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on navigating policy challenges, assessing risks, and capitalizing on emerging opportunities
Partner with business development and finance teams to integrate policy and market insights into comprehensive state-level strategies
Support external client and stakeholder engagements by preparing meeting materials, participating in calls as a subject-matter expert, and documenting key takeaways
Collaborate with finance and business development teams to put together a holistic analysis on state markets and solar programs
Support program management of New Markets initiative by building executive presentations summarizing progress, tracking client outreach and relationships in CRM, etc
