Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with regional equity, futures, and options exchanges
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with administration of exchange/market portals
  • Understanding of differences in exchange protocols
  • Familiarity with market colocation sites
  • Experience in scripting tools
  • Exposure to working with large data sets
  • Technical understanding of exchange order processing/matching and market data distribution topologies
  • Understanding networking fundamentals like Unicast vs Multicast, IP subnetting/CIDR, and routing tables
  • Must be very detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage Exchange/Venue session and risk administration via customer portals, broker relationships, etc
  • Maintain internal session repository, normalizing attributes and data access the vast array of markets DRW participates in
  • Define operational runbooks to guide your teammates in an ever-evolving, fast-paced environment
  • Work with trading desks to optimize their fee liability
  • Manage trading venue ACLs
  • Interface with internal risk stakeholders
  • Analyze data from session repository and script data driven rules to enrich related platforms
  • Maintain catalog of execution capabilities across DRW entities and PB/FCM relationships
