Requirements

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
  • Preferred: 12+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Demonstrated strategic vision and creative thinking, with a track record of challenging the status quo and driving innovation and transformation in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Proven ability to launch, commercialize, and drive adoption of new marketing offerings or initiatives across large, matrixed organizations
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, including evaluating business opportunities, assessing ROI, and leveraging insights to inform decisions
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, creative development, and emerging marketing technologies (including AI)
  • Exceptional relationship-building, leadership, and collaboration skills; adept at partnering with diverse, cross-functional stakeholders at all levels and across regions
  • Highly organized, action-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects with quick follow-through
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel required
  • Experience in card, brand, consumer or sponsorship marketing, as well as consulting, professional services, or client marketing

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives to advance Marketing Services capabilities, with a focus on innovation, scalable solutions, and emerging technology applications in marketing
  • Drive adoption of new capabilities across a global network of teams, ensuring measurable impact for Visa and our clients
  • Develop and maintain Marketing strategy and Advisory resources and best practices for internal and client-facing use
  • Support the evaluation and introduction of new sponsorship and partnership opportunities for our clients to maximize business impact
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and shape new service offerings in response to evolving market needs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Brand, Digital Experiences, Sponsorships, Insights & Analytics, Finance, and Visa Consulting & Analytics—to deliver seamless execution
  • Champion best practices and knowledge sharing across the Global Marketing Services community
  • Support high-impact client engagements as needed to reinforce our value proposition
  • Help define the vision and go-to-market approach that strengthens Visa’s position as a trusted partner for differentiated, high-impact marketing engagements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders globally, influence innovation in our offerings, and ensure effective adoption across markets
