3+ years of direct supervisory experience in a plant environment
Integrity, safety focus, mobilizing talent, computer aptitude, and working knowledge of supply chain processes including transportation, inventory management, plant operations management, safety, security, and quality standards/regulations
Ability to work in a multi-task environment, work cooperatively and collaboratively, communicate effectively with multiple business partners, and influence, inspire, and motivate others
Strong WMS/computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word & Excel)
Ability to ensure safe, efficient warehouse facility operations by advocating and driving safety training & accident preparedness
Availability to work weekends and holidays if needed
3rd Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, 5-days a week

Accomplish production objectives by training, coaching, and counseling employees; communicating job expectations; planning and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
Meet production operational standards by reviewing and executing daily strategic plans for safety, production, quality, and customer-service standards
Resolve problems and identify production operational improvements
Manage shift shipping and receiving schedules
Maintain inventory by conducting physical counts, reconciling variances, inputting correct data, and ensuring adherence to Purina inventory management processes
Maintain plant organization and housekeeping standards
Secure plant at the end of shift by following plant shutdown procedures
Contribute to maintenance and development of safety, production, service, quality, inventory control standards, and employee development
Maintain effective business relationships with local sales team, customer service, warehouse team, manufacturing plant leadership, and corporate shared services partners
Accomplish plant and organization mission by completing related results as needed
