Requirements
High School degree or equivalent
3+ years of supervisory experience
1+ years supporting Manufacturing/Production environments (preferred)
Prior work experience in a trade discipline such as Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc. (preferred)
Demonstrated experience with electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance, including equipment installation
Level 3 machinist skills in all areas of the department assigned
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office programs and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) programs
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts (a plus)
Responsibilities
Supervise all facilities and production maintenance needs, including supporting the preventive maintenance program while ensuring all safety & quality requirements are met
Direct efforts of maintenance and facilities team members to achieve daily manufacturing work schedules, driving team members to meet or exceed all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Take lead role in trouble shooting plant wide problems, determine and coordinate resources needed for problem resolution
Responsible for work assignments of team members
Responsible for overtime work schedules and overtime management of assigned departments as approved through supervision
Responsible for OJT training of team members within assigned departments
Responsible for daily, weekly, & monthly documentation of assigned work area as it pertains to 5S & safety audits, efficiency reporting, SPC reporting, scrap reporting, maintenance work orders, & DMR maintenance
Responsible for scheduling department work centers & equipment to meet departmental output per 13 week schedules
Facilitates team meetings for communication, implementation of continuous improvement in areas of safety, quality, delivery, & cost
Works closely with area supervisor for talent management and conflict resolution
Interact with site contractors to complete special project tasks
Satisfies internal and external customer & supplier needs
Interface with local power company in the event of storm or other electrical outages
Contractor Management to include all EHS compliance, project scope and scheduling
