Solid understanding of product flow and process steps (e.g., assembly, fabrication, powder coating/paint, and sub-assemblies)

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending/stooping
Ability to navigate production areas where tripping hazards may exist; adherence to safety protocols is required

Responsibilities

Drive the creation, improvement, and standardization of work instructions
Review engineering change orders (ECOs) or similar documentation to understand scope and impact
Review existing documentation; revise and edit as needed for clarity, accuracy, and completeness
Observe team members performing tasks to validate instruction accuracy and identify gaps
Collaborate with team members (TMs), leads, supervisors, and technical staff to ensure instructions reflect current best practices and process changes
Communicate and train affected employees on updated processes or requirements
Support procurement of project materials and goods
Coordinate with engineers and technicians to confirm what to order (specs, quantities, need dates)
Reconcile deliveries on site (verify part numbers, quantities, condition); resolve discrepancies
