Requirements

Degree qualified in Physics, Maths, or various Engineering degrees (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, Electrical/Electronic, General) to a minimum 2.2
‘Engineering Mind-set’ – ability to take technical information and turn it into something usable for building products, find improvements and cost savings in production, and problem-solve when fixing issues
British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship (security clearance requirements)
Ability to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

Work closely with design to influence the producibility of designs
Determine the ‘how’ to build products
Manage any tooling required to build products
Create instructions on how to build products
Control the cost of manufacture of products
Perform industrial validations of production lines and suppliers
Provide day-to-day support to operators building products
Develop the architecture of production lines
Develop new manufacturing processes
