Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly with a focus on batteries or fuel cells, is required. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is essential, alongside strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with familiarity with government regulations and standards related to manufacturing.
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes and utilize SolidWorks for designing, testing, and validating manufacturing equipment. The role involves leading the implementation of new technologies and manufacturing methods, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting root cause analysis, and training production staff on best practices.
