Requirements

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Engineer will design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of autonomous surface vessels. They will implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production workflow. The role involves collaboration with design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of design specifications into the manufacturing process and working with suppliers and vendors to source and qualify materials necessary for production. The engineer will establish and implement quality control measures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for production issues. They will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance with industry regulations, while providing training and support to production personnel.
