Problem Management Process - MFG: Explains the overall workflow of problem management from start to finish; gives examples of well-written and poorly written problem reports; identifies common types of problems typically addressed in a manufacturing environment; finds information on essential practices, policies, and procedures related to problem management

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate capital investment (CAPEX) projects, ensuring compliance with schedules and budgets
Prepare and follow up on investment requests, evaluating technical and financial feasibility
Monitor project progress and generate status reports
Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure acquisition of materials and equipment required for CAPEX projects
Verify technical specifications and delivery times with suppliers
Track purchase orders and resolve supply deviations
Participate in CPPD and design reviews to influence product design for manufacturability
Conduct feasibility studies for components and assemblies across welding, painting, and assembly processes
Create and validate process flow documentation (PFMEA, SFMEA, DF, CP, IPV, etc.)
Develop standard work instructions (SWS/SWES) and visual aids for operators
Define tooling and equipment requirements for new product lines
Guarantee adherence to APQP and PPAP requirements
Work with supply chain, logistics, and packaging teams to ensure smooth transition
Close NPI issues with clear risk assessments before production commitment
