Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 7+ years of experience, of which at least 2 years leading a team
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach regularly; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel 0-25%

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, reduce costs, and minimize errors
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse supervisors and associates
  • Conduct performance reviews, address employee concerns, and identify opportunities for team development
  • Foster a safe and productive work environment for all team members
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA regulations, and company safety policies
  • Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the warehouse
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and warehouse management systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational decisions
  • Contribute to the development and management of the warehouse budget
