Responsibilities

The Manager, Tradeshows and Events is responsible for leading the planning and execution of high-impact events, including trade shows, congresses, workshops, and internal meetings. This role will:

  • Drive event strategy and ensure seamless logistics.
  • Uphold our premium brand presence across 3+ annual on-premise events globally.
  • Position our brand at the forefront of innovation in diagnostics and engage key stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee global events calendars, budgets, and timelines.
  • Develop toolkits, manage vendor relationships, and provide internal planning and training to ensure consistent and high-quality field execution.
  • Elevate the company’s presence by influencing event strategy, booth design, and the integration of cutting-edge technology and storytelling.
  • Lead high-visibility initiatives that align with commercial goals, drive measurable business growth, brand differentiation, and deeper customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to bring complex scientific narratives to life through immersive event experiences and educational forums.

Requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field, with 9+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Experience: Long-standing experience in B2B or diagnostic industry corporate event planning and tradeshow management.
  • Event & Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing complex end-to-end corporate events and tradeshows. Strong communication, production, logistics, and project management skills are essential to align and lead teams on business objectives.
  • Financial Acumen: Skilled in budgeting, expense tracking, invoice reconciliation, and post-event financial reporting, including ROI analysis.
  • Adaptability & Execution: Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, meet tight deadlines, make sound decisions aligned with business and event goals, and adapt quickly to changes in scope or logistics.
