Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years accounting experience, including industry + public accounting
  • 2+ years in public accounting; Big Four experience is a huge plus
  • Active CPA strongly preferred
  • Hands-on operational accounting experience and confidence navigating ambiguity
  • Familiarity with modern accounting systems (NetSuite a big bonus)
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax rules, and reporting standards
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent communication and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Comfortable building processes where none exist—and improving the ones that do

Responsibilities

  • Oversee core accounting operations: month-end close, reconciliations, journals, GAAP compliance
  • Review sales orders to ensure accurate revenue recognition and taxability
  • Deliver trial balance analysis and monthly reporting that leadership relies on
  • Manage global tax compliance: VAT, withholding, regulatory filings, and statutory audits
  • Guide teammates through technical accounting questions and review their work
  • Partner with FP&A on timely and accurate financial reports and variance analysis
  • Drive process improvements that make our operations scalable and efficient
  • Jump in on ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional projects
