Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years accounting experience, including industry + public accounting
2+ years in public accounting; Big Four experience is a huge plus
Active CPA strongly preferred
Hands-on operational accounting experience and confidence navigating ambiguity
Familiarity with modern accounting systems (NetSuite a big bonus)
Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax rules, and reporting standards
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables)
Excellent communication and a drive for continuous improvement
Comfortable building processes where none exist—and improving the ones that do

Responsibilities

Oversee core accounting operations: month-end close, reconciliations, journals, GAAP compliance
Review sales orders to ensure accurate revenue recognition and taxability
Deliver trial balance analysis and monthly reporting that leadership relies on
Manage global tax compliance: VAT, withholding, regulatory filings, and statutory audits
Guide teammates through technical accounting questions and review their work
Partner with FP&A on timely and accurate financial reports and variance analysis
Drive process improvements that make our operations scalable and efficient
Jump in on ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional projects
