Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end recruitment in Japan, including attraction, assessment, and selection of talent
  • Partner with business leaders to design comprehensive and creative sourcing strategies that create a pipeline of diverse top talent
  • Partner with HR Leader to build and lead a highly effective, customer-facing team that is business knowledgeable, proactive, responsive, and client-focused, ensuring consistency in recruitment strategy and practices aligned with Global Talent Acquisition Strategy
  • Closely partner with global Talent Branding & Recruitment Marketing, TA Operations, and Executive recruitment team; drive Japan TA Roadmap as part of APAC TA Leadership Team
  • Manage and/or participate in regional and global TA projects
  • Prepare, communicate, educate, and drive adoption of recruiting resources, systems, and procedures with the team and organization
  • Coach and consult with business leaders and hiring managers on recruitment and talent mobility best practices to drive business goals
  • Monitor, report, and drive regional talent acquisition metrics and performance (e.g., time to accept, time to present, source of hire), analyze trends, and proactively address challenges
  • Drive continuous improvement to refine search delivery quality and diversity of slates
  • Stay abreast of employment trends, current legislation, and policies affecting recruitment
  • Align regional and global processes, drive best practice standardization, promote accountability of metrics, and ensure team meets recruitment goals
  • Partner with APAC TA Leader on country-specific priorities and opportunities, participating in Global TA COE
  • Continuously implement and improve global TA tools, templates, and training in partnership with operations team and regional TA leader
  • Provide mentorship and resource support for local team members on processes, programs, and systems
  • Own and serve as point of contact for vendor management and investment strategy for the region
  • Drive compliance
