Requirements

All responsibilities/skills of Supplier Quality Engineer
Management experience to develop and manage team resources
Ability to guide New Supplier Selection SQA and SAE audits, review/approve audit reports
Expertise in Supplier Process Risk Audit (SPPAP Audit or Compliance Audit Process Audit)
Knowledge of NPD Qualification Process throughout APQP & PPAP (SPPAP in SBD), including CTQ definition, DFMEA, PFMEA, QCP, and quality planning
Proficiency in Phase Gate Review Meetings, Design Assurance, MCB readiness, product validation
Skills in problem-solving methodologies (Fishbone, DOE, 8D/5Why), leading onsite workshops
Experience coordinating with stakeholders (DC/Plant/Customer/suppliers globally)
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, 6 Sigma for supplier capability/capacity improvement
Ability to develop and lead annual supplier training plans (SPPAP, NPD, Quality Control, Risks Management, Problem Solving, Change Management, SBD requirements)
Team leadership skills: resource allocation, prioritization, coaching, performance assessment
Capability to drive regional goals, focus on top quality issues/safety risks/top spend suppliers

Responsibilities

Manage overall Supplier Quality performance and People Development in Vietnam
Guide New Supplier Selection SQA & SAE Audit and Annual SQA/Supplier Process Risk Audit: guide audits, review/approve reports, follow up actions, develop annual audit plan, coach auditors, maintain database
Manage NPD Qualification Process throughout APQP & PPAP (SPPAP) Entire Phase Gate: attend CTQ/spec reviews/DFMEA/PFMEA/QCP, coach team, attend Phase Gate meetings, co-work on design confirmation/MCB/product validation, collect/review SPPAP/inspection reports, audit quality data, ensure practical quality planning
Manage Problem Solving and drive Supplier Quality Performance Continuous Improvement: lead onsite RCA workshops, coordinate stakeholders, deploy Preventive Action Plans, assist/drive LEAN/6 Sigma projects, reduce lead time/waste/MOQ, improve capacity/ratings/defect rates
Make and lead Annual Supplier Training Plan on SPPAP/NPD, Quality Control/Risks, Problem Solving, Change Management, SBD requirements
Allocate and best utilize team resources: focus on priorities, balance proactive/reactive time, assess SQE onsite/self-inspections, delegate staff to issues, spend time developing team
Lead team to fulfill regional goals and address key company issues
