Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, chemistry, physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Management
- 2+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and other aerospace industry standards
- Ability and technical skills to lead and perform conformity inspections
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct initial and maintenance approval assessments of suppliers
- Plan, organize, and conduct onsite audits of Wisk procured material, parts, and assemblies
- Develop and mature supplier quality processes and procedures
- Assess supplier capability and capacity to perform work and comply with specifications
- Conduct root cause and corrective action analysis and implement preventative action
- Provide education on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues, and company initiatives
- Conduct source inspections and conformity inspections (8130-9)
- Identify risks and hold suppliers accountable for risk mitigation
- Support regulatory agency audits and conformity inspections (FAA)
- Travel within the United States and foreign countries as needed
