Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, chemistry, physics, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Management
  • 2+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and other aerospace industry standards
  • Ability and technical skills to lead and perform conformity inspections

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and conduct initial and maintenance approval assessments of suppliers
  • Plan, organize, and conduct onsite audits of Wisk procured material, parts, and assemblies
  • Develop and mature supplier quality processes and procedures
  • Assess supplier capability and capacity to perform work and comply with specifications
  • Conduct root cause and corrective action analysis and implement preventative action
  • Provide education on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues, and company initiatives
  • Conduct source inspections and conformity inspections (8130-9)
  • Identify risks and hold suppliers accountable for risk mitigation
  • Support regulatory agency audits and conformity inspections (FAA)
  • Travel within the United States and foreign countries as needed
