Requirements
- Must reside in Seattle, Portland, or Spokane metro area (candidates willing to self-relocate may be considered, no relocation support provided)
- U.S. citizen or valid Green Card holder
- 5+ years of supplier-facing quality experience, preferably in mechanical parts/components
- Strong mechanical manufacturing process knowledge
- Proven track record of improving supplier performance with a balance of relationship-building and accountability
- Experience with quality management standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar
- Strong capability in root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and data-driven decision-making
- Comfortable working independently in the field and collaborating with remote cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site supplier visits across the Pacific Northwest to assess capability, strengthen quality systems, and ensure consistent, high-quality, on-time delivery of mechanical parts
- Coach manufacturing partners to build quality into the process from the start
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions that prevent recurrence and drive measurable long-term results
- Utilize Fictiv’s supplier maturity models, scorecards, and best practices to increase supplier performance across the network
- Serve as the voice of the customer at supplier sites, ensuring expectations are understood, met, and exceeded
