Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in engineering leadership, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and prior experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining OLAP systems. Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers, along with knowledge of online storage systems, data replication processes, and cloud data warehouses, are also required.

Responsibilities

As a Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead a high-performance infrastructure engineering team, building systems that power Affirm’s critical data pipelines and contributing to the improvement of the Data Lake platform. You will collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to deliver a long-term technical roadmap, establish a culture of innovation and accountability, and actively coach and mentor team members, while also raising the bar for technical quality and development processes.
