Requirements

Candidates should possess a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience building high-performance systems. They should have experience operating and scaling mission-critical, large-scale production systems utilizing languages such as Python, Go, and C++, and demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills in complex technical domains. A track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical direction is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, the individual will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining foundational services, frameworks, and libraries for data and compute management, working collaboratively with multiple teams to expand our cloud presence. They will develop and enforce company-wide standards related to code quality and codebase management, work with DevOps to maintain CI/CD pipelines, leverage telemetry toolkits to track performance metrics, fulfill SLAs, help the company survey and adopt new technologies, lead complex projects, and collaborate across various teams to deliver a cohesive platform. They will also mentor other engineers and share their knowledge with the team and company.
