Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role. Strong experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required, along with proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is also essential, as is a solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles.
The Site Reliability Engineer will ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of Zeta’s systems by designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure. They will develop automation tools and scripts to streamline operational tasks, respond to incidents promptly, perform capacity planning, optimize system performance, and implement infrastructure as code practices. Additionally, they will monitor system behavior, collaborate with security teams on security best practices, develop disaster recovery plans, and continuously analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
