Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Deep understanding of TWDC content library, brands, franchises, and characters
  • Prior experience in the streaming industry is considered an advantage
  • Previous experience in data analysis would be a plus
  • Comprehensive expertise in digital or sports media platforms, including hands-on management of web, app, streaming, and connected devices
  • Proven ability to work across a matrixed organization while also able to self-motivate
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive working in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Experience with content planning tools; Airtable preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Diplomatic mindset with proven te (likely "team" or similar, based on context)

Responsibilities

  • Leverage service, market, and behaviour data, as well as audience research to drive effective programming strategies, and create high-impact, curated programming events that leverage TWDC brands and franchises
  • Oversee day-to-day slate update - Plan, curate, build, publish, and manage Disney+ content programming through the curation tools with accuracy and efficiency to maximize audience engagement and retention
  • Managing and tracking the alignment with overall content planning strategy and programmers to execute the scheduling of the programs
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure content and asset availability supports curation strategies. Also, monitor and communicate programming intent for the content slate
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle and Brand & Content Marketing teams for alignment in content priorities
  • Collaborate on regional and territorial editorial curation and promotion
  • Pull data analytics to gain and share content performance insights around audience, title, platform, and other elements of Disney+
  • Facilitate verbal and written communications between teams, and to the larger organization including executives and global teams
  • Drive operational efficiencies, collaborating closely with all programmers and internal teams to manage communication and timely delivery
  • This role will require occasional weekend and evening work
  • Become an expert/super-user in the Disney+ programming and curation tool
