Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Instructional Design or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in adult learning environment with a proven track record of initiating, researching, planning, and driving the completion of concurrent comprehensive training initiatives
  • Extensive experience with web-based training development tools, Microsoft Office, Project, screen capture tools, illustration/graphic software
  • 5+ years of experience with MX Studio (Flash, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks)
  • 5+ years of experience in the use of video editing software (Adobe Premier Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in videography, video editing, or multimedia production
  • Must have working knowledge of Synthesia or other AI software
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, execute, and project manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Must be able to cope with high stress situations and meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain course design schedule
  • Demonstrate competence with design, concepts, techniques and processes that support effective adult learning using all environments: print, web-based, classroom, etc
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of learning management systems (administration, tracking, and basic technical requirement – Workday Preferred)
  • Design and develop content for web-based delivery
  • Convert source documents, procedures, processes into interactive online learning programs
  • Demonstrate experience in developing paper-based training modules
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering interactive training face-to-face to associates at all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrate process mapping skills by documenting complex workflows or tasks into effective learning aids or procedures
  • Be pro-active in making recommendations, developing and implementing performance improvement practices
  • Work with Operations, Logistics and other divisions to determine new course needs
  • Evaluate and modify existing courses to ensure they continue to meet the training need
  • Manage creation of high-quality instructional videos, animations, and other multimedia assets
  • Plan, film, and edit video content for a variety of purposes including training, internal communications, executive messaging, and promotional campaigns
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop video concepts, scripts, and storyboards
  • Partner with executive leadership on pre-production, production, and post-production to develop polished, professional video content for internal and external audiences, including town halls, strategic updates, and thought leadership
  • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture professional-grade footage
  • Support development of communication materials that promote learning programs and drive engagement
  • Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging across all learning and communication touchpoints
  • Maintain a library of digital learning assets and ensure accessibility and brand consistency
