Responsibilities

The Manager of Medical Billing & Coding will lead the strategy, operations, and compliance of Acelis Connected Health’s medical billing and coding functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant billing practices. They will act as a resource, identifying clinical documentation deficiencies and recommending resolutions. The role involves performing medical chart audits, exercising mature judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with coding and payer regulations. Additionally, the manager will identify areas of potential coding and compliance risk, provide coding guidance to commercial and IT teams, and participate in data collection and reporting activities, striving to maintain billing lag days of 7 days or less.
