Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, with 4-6 years of relevant work experience and 0-1 years of management experience. A Coding Certification (HCS-D or BCHH-C) is required, along with OASIS certification and/or experience in OASIS review. The role also requires willingness to work additional hours and adhere to security policies.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Coding Quality will oversee teams to ensure medical coding practices comply with regulatory standards, including COPs and CMS guidelines for home health and hospice. Responsibilities include managing the department's coding audit program, evaluating education opportunities, and collaborating with operations and education teams to achieve quality, education, and productivity goals. The manager will also monitor production metrics, manage workforce planning, prioritize the training of medical coders, and analyze/report on key performance indicators to identify trends and solutions.
