Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, maintaining, and overseeing the enforcement of IT operational policies and the East Coast ITSM Team
  • Serving as a point of contact for escalations within the team and customer concerns
  • Providing strategic direction and leadership to all IT activities
  • Overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational and platform goals
  • Working closely with leaders across Sciex and Danaher to ensure IT services support critical business functions
  • Managing the deployment, development, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading and support of organizational IT systems (including operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones and peripherals)
  • Developing standard operating procedures allied to best practice, and ensuring written protocols and guidelines are provided for IT staff and all end-users
  • Keeping up to date with the most recent technologies and advising on what new technological solutions and their implementation will meet business and systems requirements
  • Developing the organization’s IT vision and translating it into actionable goals
  • Supporting the Global Director, IT Service by effectively leading a team of technical professionals and assisting with escalations
