Responsibilities

Developing, implementing, maintaining, and overseeing the enforcement of IT operational policies and the East Coast ITSM Team
Serving as a point of contact for escalations within the team and customer concerns
Providing strategic direction and leadership to all IT activities
Overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational and platform goals
Working closely with leaders across Sciex and Danaher to ensure IT services support critical business functions
Managing the deployment, development, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading and support of organizational IT systems (including operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones and peripherals)
Developing standard operating procedures allied to best practice, and ensuring written protocols and guidelines are provided for IT staff and all end-users
Keeping up to date with the most recent technologies and advising on what new technological solutions and their implementation will meet business and systems requirements
Developing the organization’s IT vision and translating it into actionable goals
Supporting the Global Director, IT Service by effectively leading a team of technical professionals and assisting with escalations
