Requirements

Candidates must be based in the Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, or Dayton region and be willing to travel approximately 40-50% of the time. A strong understanding of human resources principles and the ability to adapt to the retail industry are essential. Experience in performance management, talent management and development, employee relations, talent acquisition, HR policies and compliance, and culture and change initiatives is required.

Responsibilities

The HRBP Stores Manager will partner with District and Store Managers to support end-to-end business operations, focusing on talent, culture, and capability. Responsibilities include administering performance evaluations, developing performance improvement plans, implementing training and development programs, overseeing onboarding, leading succession planning, and providing ongoing coaching. The role also involves serving as a point of contact for employee concerns, conducting investigations, ensuring recruitment best practices, assisting with talent acquisition, promoting data-driven talent selection, ensuring HR policy compliance, and providing guidance on employment practices. Additionally, the manager will drive the deployment of compensation and benefits programs, utilize HR metrics for decision-making, generate reports on HR KPIs and workforce analytics, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
