Position Overview

Twilio is seeking a Manager, HRBP, Engineering to partner with senior leaders in Twilio’s engineering organization. This role will focus on crafting talent strategies and workforce plans to enhance skills, evolve ways of working, and foster a culture dedicated to delivering world-class CPaaS products. Reporting to the HRBP lead for the Chief Product Officer, you will be an integral part of a high-impact HR team driving organizational success across global Engineering, Product, and R&D. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in product development environments, are driven to achieve organizational success, and can translate complexity into clarity.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of HRBP experience.
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with software engineering or product management teams.
  • Deep understanding of engineering organizations, including operating models, methodologies, roles, and trends.
  • Proven ability to deliver scalable, high-ROI, business-first people programs.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning, solving complex problems, and driving results.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with internal OE consultants and/or HCM strategy firms.
  • Background working within HRBP teams that build and drive functional talent strategies.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Bring energy, insight, and action to every challenge.
  • Employ a consultative, data-driven approach to identify opportunities.
  • Utilize analytics and insights to achieve timely, targeted outcomes.
  • Develop high-ROI programs covering org design, workforce planning, and culture curation.
  • Collaborate closely with COEs to ensure functional talent strategies align with cyclical programs.
  • Enhance productivity through the sensible use of AI tools.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, maintaining a strong say:do ratio and upholding confidentiality.
  • Provide effective executive coaching.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of engineering organizations to shape outcomes.
  • Lead by example, embodying and modeling Twilio Magic (values).

This role is remote and based in the US.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to facilitate meaningful in-person connections.
