Responsibilities

  • Hire, coach, and develop a world-class sales team focused on end-to-end sales execution and revenue growth
  • Own sales performance management, ensuring the team meets key sales metrics (pipeline contribution, conversion rates, closed-won deals, and revenue targets)
  • Develop best-in-class processes to drive high conversion rates and accelerate deal closure
  • Enable the team to negotiate, close, and onboard SME clients efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Establish structured communication channels and collaboration frameworks between the Global Sales Team and regional sales teams
  • Develop and refine sales playbooks, negotiation frameworks, and closing strategies tailored to the specific market
  • Provide structured training on contract negotiation and deal closure tactics
  • Implement quality control measures, including sales call reviews, deal win-loss analysis, and structured feedback loops
  • Operate in a multi-time-zone environment, ensuring real-time support for Airwallex’s global markets
  • Partner strategically with regional sales leadership to scale Airwallex’s global GTM strategy
