Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the Protection Line of Business and at a Divisional level
Drive financial planning, in-depth financial analysis, and process optimization for the Western Protection line of business, as well as oversee global expense management
Develop and maintain the company's global expense planning and Western Protection business planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and assumptions for budgeting and forecasting purposes
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
Monitor and report on key financial metrics to senior management, highlighting areas of concern or opportunities for improvement
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario modelling, to support strategic decision-making
Identify risks and opportunities in the financial forecast and provide recommendations to mitigate risks or optimize opportunities
Develop financial models and dashboards to track and communicate key financial metrics and KPIs
Ensure stakeholders are kept up to date with timely, complete and meaningful analysis
Partner with both business-as-usual (BAU) and project teams to continuously assess and enhance financial systems and applications
Drive improvements in planning and reporting tools to support scalability, accuracy, and efficiency across FP&A processes
Champion automation and digital transformation initiatives that streamline workflows
