Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum 7 years' related experience, including participation in enterprise level engagements in lean manufacturing initiatives
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
Ability to work in a warehouse environment (Constant)
Ability to sit, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for long periods of time in one place (Frequent)
Ability to lift and move items of various sizes and shapes up to 50 lbs. (Frequent)
Exposure to frequent movement of motorized equipment throughout production floor (Constant)
Qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR and EAR, or eligible for export license approval

Responsibilities

Leads the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives
Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply
Leads and performs all work consistent with the company's quality system and manufacturing practices, including maintaining a clean and orderly production area
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process to meet them
Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action
Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups
Works on issues where analysis requires review of relevant factors
Follows, promotes, and enforces the company's safety and environmental policies, practices, and procedures; assists with safety investigations and corrective actions
Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and support personnel
Coordinates with other departments on planning and scheduling production runs, changeovers, preventative maintenance, work order assignments, and other related activities
Demonstrates knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
Other duties as assigned
