Requirements

Report to the office every Tuesday and Wednesday each week, plus two Thursdays a month (Hybrid Work Model)
Located in Woonsocket, RI or other approved Hub (e.g., Hartford, CT)
Knowledge of corporate contract and purchasing policies, laws, regulations, and business unit procedures
Ability to interact with key CVS subject matter experts (e.g., Legal, Sourcing, Global Security, Information Governance, Risk Management, Privacy, Tax, Finance areas)
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate terms and conditions to internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

Draft, prepare, and review contract documents in accordance with company policies and procedures to minimize exposure and maximize benefits
Negotiate all key terms of contract documents, including legal and business terms, for IT and Non-IT deals across all categories of non-merchandise goods and services
Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, corporate policies, and business unit procedures
Lead and/or represent Enterprise Procurement on project teams reporting to senior leadership, facilitating enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, savings initiatives, policy enforcement, supplier diversity, and M&A supplier integration
Perform work on special projects assigned by management, implement change, and lead larger projects by managing Contract Analysts for highly visible engagements
Regularly communicate with internal team members and business partners to draft, negotiate, and memorialize provisions into scopes of work, SLAs, financial incentives, etc
Partner with Sourcing colleagues to support RFP development by providing contractual documentation, answering legal questions from participants, and highlighting problematic provisions for business leaders
