Requirements

  • Report to the office every Tuesday and Wednesday each week, plus two Thursdays a month (Hybrid Work Model)
  • Located in Woonsocket, RI or other approved Hub (e.g., Hartford, CT)
  • Knowledge of corporate contract and purchasing policies, laws, regulations, and business unit procedures
  • Ability to interact with key CVS subject matter experts (e.g., Legal, Sourcing, Global Security, Information Governance, Risk Management, Privacy, Tax, Finance areas)
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate terms and conditions to internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Draft, prepare, and review contract documents in accordance with company policies and procedures to minimize exposure and maximize benefits
  • Negotiate all key terms of contract documents, including legal and business terms, for IT and Non-IT deals across all categories of non-merchandise goods and services
  • Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, corporate policies, and business unit procedures
  • Lead and/or represent Enterprise Procurement on project teams reporting to senior leadership, facilitating enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, savings initiatives, policy enforcement, supplier diversity, and M&A supplier integration
  • Perform work on special projects assigned by management, implement change, and lead larger projects by managing Contract Analysts for highly visible engagements
  • Regularly communicate with internal team members and business partners to draft, negotiate, and memorialize provisions into scopes of work, SLAs, financial incentives, etc
  • Partner with Sourcing colleagues to support RFP development by providing contractual documentation, answering legal questions from participants, and highlighting problematic provisions for business leaders
