Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred from a Tier 1 University/College
Self-starter with strong technical and people leadership skills
Strong knowledge of generator set control systems
NPI Program and product development experience
Ability to effectively develop and manage complex project plans from concept to production
A sense of urgency balanced with a strong commitment to quality
Strong communication skills
Strong business acumen
Working Knowledge of Planning: Tactical, Strategic (contributes to short-term operational plans, anticipates/adapts to changes, monitors progress, reports variances, develops tactical plans under guidance)
Working Knowledge of Effective Communications (delivers helpful feedback, listens without defensiveness, makes presentations/writes reports, avoids jargon, considers non-verbal cues)
Working Knowledge of Problem Solving (identifies/documents problems and alternatives, understands stakeholder perspectives, develops assessment techniques, analyzes risks/benefits, uses fact-finding/diagnostic tools)

Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality
Maintaining product release plans and material plans; driving programs to completion on time and within budget
Manages engineering for design and development of technologies, components, systems, products, or services
