Requirements

Based in the Singapore office
Report to the Director, Marine & Technical Operations in Singapore
Manage the Marine Electrical Technical Operations technical team, including personnel development
Responsible for electrical and maintenance of Disney Adventure and other vessels in Asia & Pacific region
Responsible for shipboard marine electrical engineering and machinery automation systems upkeep and performance
Assist in development and planning of key maintenance periods aligned with vessels' operational profile
Appoint and manage subcontractors for contract maintenance and repairs on time and within budgets
Review, adjust, and introduce procedures and work instructions for areas of responsibility
Ensure proper record keeping and adherence to Classification and Regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

Assist with departmental budgets for areas of responsibility
Liaison with USCG, Lloyd’s Register, and USPH for areas of responsibility
Oversee compliance with technical aspects of applicable Flag State, Port State, international, and classification society resolutions and requirements, including CSM
Oversee maintenance of ships and proper documentation in company-approved maintenance system
Ensure Marine and Technical Systems Programmable Electronic Control Systems within areas of responsibility are maintained per OEM recommendations and applicable classification or statutory requirements, including security-related aspects
Provide oversight and management of DCL standards and operations for safe use of electricity in potentially explosive atmospheres, including fuel hazardous zones, in coordination with Ship Teams, Classification Society, and Vendors per International Standards
Oversee compliance with OEM Safe Type Equipment Approval Procedure and Documentation per applicable standards (e.g., IEC 60079, IEC 60092, Electrical Installations on Ships, IMO SOLAS, IMO IGF Code, Lloyd’s Register and DNV Rules)
