  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related discipline)
  • 7+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role
  • Demonstrated ability to grow engineers, engineering leaders, and meaningfully impact the career progression of direct reports
  • Experience in working with and leading multidisciplinary teams with end-to-end ownership
  • Experience managing complex engineering projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of high-voltage circuit designs and hardware systems for Helion’s fusion devices
  • Build a world-class engineering team by providing mentorship, modeling technical best practices, and continually raising the bar for engineering performance
  • Solve complex engineering problems that directly impact machine performance
  • Drive schedule ownership and optimization by team members to accelerate milestones
  • Drive design, analysis, and manufacturing process improvements to increase throughput
  • Interface directly with other technical teams (Research, Mechanical, Production) to derive requirements and achieve Helion’s milestones
